Consultation - Occupied Homes

The consultation is typically up to 2hrs for an average 3-bed, 2-bath home and may take longer for a larger home. The aim is to pick out key selling features and focus on making the property stand out. This includes evaluating curbside appeal; creating focal points in rooms; decluttering; addressing maintenance and cleaning issues; accessorizing; reorganizing furniture and/or layout; recommendations for accent wall colors, new linens, curtains etc.

We walk through the home and garden and then spend dedicated time in each room to evaluate options and make recommendations. This may include a recommendation to rent or purchase specific furniture items.

Follow-up Report

The report is optional and details the recommendations made for each room and determines how and when the work gets done. Additional services may include:

  • Organizing and decluttering
  • Packing and getting ready for your move
  • Furniture rental and storage options
  • Painting
  • Cleaning, power washing
  • Lights repairs and maintenance

Furniture is rented by the month, although we suggest a minimum of two months. Furniture is rented in sets or by individual pieces. The living room, master bedroom, dining room and bathroom and the most popular rooms to be staged. We’ll also discuss the amount of accessorizing required, including rugs, art and decorative pieces etc.
